It’s funny how just something so small as a single control machine can make for such a giant problem, but that’s the way it was in our office for the longest time… Our company owned an outdated building plus the two of us all maintained one floor, however it was a pretty giant space plus there were more than 60 of us working mainly in cubicles.
Of course, that outdated building came with outdated commercial Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C plus just one control unit.
It shouldn’t be too giant a surprise that one control machine setting isn’t going to please 60 some odd people. But most of us did our best to deal with this situation individually, and for instance, there were plenty of us that brought in our own space oil oil furnaces while I was in the winter… The commercial Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C just never warmed up that space actually well, but and while I was in the summer, there were small fans on just about every desk; Still, there were folks in our office who would literally get physical when it came to the control machine setting. It was prefer many unusual camps warring against each other when it came to the control machine setting! Honestly, it was deranged that it had gotten to that point. Finally, management replaced the outdated commercial Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C with the latest in Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C equipment. But it was the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C technology update that definitely made the difference. Once the two of us got zone controlled Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C in the office, it signaled the end of any more control machine arguments. And I for one was definitely blissful to have that sort of drama out of our labor afternoon.
