That was something that I never even thought about until I noticed the dramatic increase in our a/c bill this summer.
I guess that the air conditioning system cost has increased at least 30 percent from what it was last year.
I’m not using any more a/c than usual, either! Plus, the weather isn’t even as hot this year as is was last summer! The temperature has only been up in the 81s plus last year all of us had record highs in the high nineties. I started doing a little bit of investigation to try plus figure out exactly why the a/c bill was so high plus I couldn’t find anything wrong with our HVAC component or with our thermostat. So I ended up calling our local HVAC supplier to see if they had any ideas. The HVAC supplier that I talked to on the phone mentioned that a lot of times, the ducttoil in homes can be a major issue in causing your heating plus cooling bills to become more fancy… He said that unless you have a professional HVAC supplier out to evaluate your ductwork, heating vents, plus ductworks, you might never even suppose if you have faulty ductwork. That’s because in most homes, all the ducttoil is hidden in the walls, floors, plus ceilings. HVAC professionals have special tools that they can use to detect cracks or holes in the ductworks, though. I decided to have them come to the condo to take a look at mine, because I don’t want to pay these high air conditioning system bills all summer!
