This is a story about Frank and how one life was saved in the unforgiving desert. Frank was enjoying his getaway to a remote desert location in search of what his cult religion had told him was a sacred space containing riches. He believed he was a person of good faith and would be deserving of these riches. He tried to keep his cool as he embarked on his quest. He brought with him very much water to ensure he would not suffer the missing of his central Heating, Ventilation, and A/C plan as his rented condo. He started his journey out on a horse and him and his creature companion made it very far. His horse began to get exhausted as the sun suddenly became strong. The horse’s body was heating and was behaving like a space heating system making Frank have a harder time cooling his own body. After getting off the horse, Frank felt like he was in air conditioner from the change. But it did not take long until he felt his vital systems getting overheated. The water he brought should have been enough, however, because he was conserve his water which was in his cooler bottle, he began to get dizzy and dropped the rest off a cliff. It wasn’t long before a mirage of an air conditioned restaurant appeared before him… Even though he believed it was a mirage, he decided this was the only thing he had to cling to. He made his way, eventually crawling to the air conditioned restaurant in the middle of the desert. He ordered a vanilla milkshake, which did not hydrate him at all. However he was able to conserve enough sweat because of the air conditioner. This act of air conditioner really saved his life, and proved that mirages can be real.
