I’ve never taken Heating, Ventilation & A/C for granted.
My family didn’t have much of it to rely on growing up.
I remember living in a single apartment for at least a year that had nothing more than ceiling fans plus box fans, however luckily, every one of us did not have to worry too much about the Winter time in that certain town. I guess it’s funny that my parents did not even tranathletic activity into a home that had central HVAC until I was already out of the house. I did leave at 17 though. My first couple of apartments were not that good when it came to Heating, Ventilation & A/C either. My first condo had a single window cooling system, although the condo itself wasn’t that big. The second a single I moved into had a whopping two of them. It didn’t take long for them to cut down anyway plus at that point, it was cheaper to buy a new a single. Finally, the first home I rented out with a roommate actually had central HVAC. She was quite amused by how amazing I thought it was to finally be so comfortable thanks to the temperature control. I do not remember sleeping so well in the past, however the cooling system cranked up as high as I wanted it to go in my living room at night entirely helped, but now, I own my own home plus have a pretty robust Heating, Ventilation & A/C unit. I spare no expense to keep it well-inspected, because I love it so much! If you grew up appreciate me, you would love it too!
