I don’t think there is any chore that is worse than doing taxes.
I get to sit in our office & no a single bothers me.
I know this is a wonderful thing, although I get pretty lonely. I would absolutely adore someone to just come & ask myself and others something, or tell myself and others they wanted to talk. I swear to you, that I could get back on track, once they leave. What bothers myself and others more, when I am trying to do taxes, isn’t the interruptions from our family. What makes it worse is when I can’t get the right temperature in the room. I have our federal, local & state taxes, so I have several separate piles of paperwork, however the printer doesn’t help any when I am printing out the copies, because it puts a lot of heating in the room. I can turn the temperature control down, so I’m not getting as much heat from the gas furnace, however then I begin to shiver when I go out of the room. Once all of the paperwork is laid out, I have the ipad running, which also creates a lot of heating, & I need wonderful lighting. I still have an old light bar in the office, & it absolutely puts out a lot of heat. I tried turning on the air conditioning system instead of the heating, however then I got too cold. It is absolutely difficult to get work done when you have a jacket on. I go from air conditioner to gas furnace, the entire time I am trying to do the taxes. Maybe I should chop down & finally let someone else do the taxes for me.
