For quite some time, I had no idea what link building for websites was supposed to be.

First, for link building, you do this for online marketing. Second, link building is more like citations. It is an SEO strategy to show google that you are a reliable source! If Google starts to believe that a lot of talk is going on about a Heating & A/C website, and finds that the links are credible, the website will rank higher on their search engine! The links can be right at the bottom of a blog post too, and it can all talk about how great the Heating & A/C company truly is. Within the post is targeted keywords, which the search engine sees and likes. At the bottom, you’ll find links featuring keywords that connect back to the actual Heating & A/C website. It is all pretty sophisticated stuff, and it is just not blog posts either! Social media posts on Facebook can have a link to the actual Heating & A/C website, and the more places the Heating & A/C company shows up, the better it is for advertisement on behalf of the company. The more diverse the keywords, the better! I do a basic form of link building for our company, as I do write blog posts here and there that have targeted keywords and links for each Heating & A/C supplier. It is a simple enough process, but I am sure that real SEO companies that do work for large companies have more involved processes that we can learn a thing or two from seeing!
