Our vents aren’t doing great

It seems as if each year I become upset to bust my holiday decorations out of the basement and go insane! I’m one of those people who actually adore setting up a pretty tree and a ton of twinkling lights as soon as I can, but i try and hold out as long as possible, however I know I decorate earlier and earlier each year, however my holiday decor is something that I love, what else can I say? This year, I decided to purchase a new skirt for the bottom of my tree.

  • I’d been using a cheap one that was multiple years old, so I thought it was time to invest in a different one.

I found a particularly fluffy pale white one, and I happily set it out under the tree. My pet also seemed to really enjoy it, mostly because it was moderate and cozy. When my pet was lying under the tree, I didn’t realize that she’d pushed the tree skirt around to make her own little nook. When she made this happen, she pushed the skirt over my air vent on the floor, which caused my oil furnace to react in a bad way! For starters, I observed that there was no heat coming into my residing room, however there was a lot of heat being pushed into the other rooms of the house, and no matter how I set my control unit, the heat wasn’t coming through my living room at all, and this is when I found the air vent covered up by the tree skirt! I assumed my labrador would push the skirt over the vent again, so I had to transport my whole tree.
