My shirts are faded and worn out from overuse

My boss agreed to buy 5 new shirts to replace all of the worn and faded ones.

For the past five years, I have been working with the same company. I am a certified HVAC technician. I have been certified for a long time and I have continuously worked in the HVAC repair filled for the last 12 years. During the last five years, I have been very happy working for a commercial HVAC repair and installation service. I work 5 days a week from 7 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon. Some days I work later, but I rarely get done sooner. I also work every other weekend on emergency HVAC repair services. My shirts are faded and worn out from overuse. A couple of them have holes and one of my shirts is covered in splatters from bleach. I talked to my boss after the Monday morning meeting. I told the guy that I needed a couple of new shirts. He was hesitant to order more uniforms until I presented all of my shirts in a row. Not a single one of the HVAC repair uniform shirts looked good. My pants are in equally bad shape, but I didn’t want to press my luck. I thought it was best to start with shirts. My boss agreed to buy 5 new shirts to replace all of the worn and faded ones. He has to call the supplier and place an order. It’s going to take a few weeks to get the new shirts, but I don’t mind waiting. I’m certainly glad that my boss agreed to get me some new clothes. If I have to wait for them, it’s no big deal.
