Two months ago my mother and father sadly passed away.
They were both in pretty awful conditions for many years, and once my mom died my father only lasted for a couple more days before he followed… In my parents’ will they left the property in my name.
My initial thought was to do the reasonable thing and just put the property up for sale to make as much currency as possible on it. I am a truly sentimental person though, and I just couldn’t let the property go like that. I had grown up in that property and I had seen it go from looking like a completely run down shack to an appealing residence with the latest and greatest gear and Heating, Ventilation, and A/C equipment technology. My father had founded his own Heating, Ventilation, and A/C equipment supplier many years before I was even born and he made sure to keep the property equipped with all of the modern gadgets anyone could ever want… After thinking about it for days I decided to sell my property along with most of my things and move back to live in my parents’ property. Keeping my parents’ memory alive was a serious factor, however all of the cool features in the property also played a fairly massive role in this decision. I had a bit of anxiety once I finally made the choice to move back home, although I honestly feel that it is one of the best choices I have made in a terribly long time. This property will stay in my family’s possession for as long as possible if I have anything to do with it.
