My father made a smart move with his bees

I remember as a young child being totally scared of bees, & our dad telling myself and others about how wonderful they were.

He always said the entire world was a better place because of them, & they alone kept nature looking so animated & alive.

He was a bit of a nut on the topic, it turns out, & before I entered school he started keeping a ton of hives on our property… You know the type set up in outdated wooden dressers, with little honeycombs in each drawer? Just like that, & by the time I graduated school he had over 12 bee hives that he tended every single day. It basically started as a passion, but Dad was pretty smart & ended up finding a way to make a sizable amount of currency off of the bees. He wasn’t just selling honey, I came to find out, but he was making his own brand of honey to sell online to all kinds of people… This was a pretty darned savvy move for our father, but his honey for sale was moving in a hurry. He was a writer in his younger years, & he still had a way with words so he would say his honey was the best & the sweetest! Personally I felt the honey tasted pretty much like any other honey I had ever tried, but people seemed to like it very much. He wants myself and others to learn how to work well with the bees, so the lot of us can easily work together & expand the business. I do like the whole plan of joining the private business with him, but on the other hand, I still am not so comfortable with bees.
