Sure, it was cold up North, but it was so much easier for myself and others to deal with than the hot, humid South
I was entirely ecstatic when I left the North to moved to the South; I thought everything was going to be so much better because I wouldn’t have to deal with the constant cold plus brutal cold months. I moved into a little apartment and soon realized that it was so boiling hot that I entirely had to depend on the a/c all the time. However, not only was it incredibly boiling hot but the humidity was honestly out of control! I learned from some current buddies that you need to have a dehumidifier plus a powerful air conditioning system. It wasn’t long before my a/c system completely broke down, and that was brutal. I had to pay to get emergency HVAC repair because the HVAC companies were so busy. So after a few months of dealing with the blazing heat of the South, I decided that I couldn’t take it any longer. I thought it was nuts but I finally decided to go right back up North where I was at least comfortable with the weather patterns plus I knew how to handle things. Sure, it was cold up North, but it was so much easier for myself and others to deal with than the hot, humid South. I was able to get back into the home I had left just months before because nobody was occupying it yet. I entirely missed my trusty HVAC system with the gas oil furnace. I rarely had to use the cooling system here, however I was glad about that.I entirely never wanted to go back to the South again.
