Learning how to eat right at a busy job

I was starting to become depressed because I regularly felt so tired, especially when I was at the office.

I knew that I needed to improve my eating habits but this was strenuous for me.

I regularly just wanted to get something fast to eat. I have a busy job. There is not a lot of time for lunch. It was so easy to get fast food and eat it as I drive back to the desk. Fast food is heavy in fats, grease and sugars. Periodically I would try to just order a salad or something healthier, but having a burger and fries was something I enjoyed a lot more. The cost was about the same too. Also, a salad is just not filling enough. Eventually some people at work were talking about getting a corporate wellness program in the office. There were co-workers going around with an actual petition to get something like this implemented in our workplace. When the petition was brought to the owner of the business, they actually liked the sound of implementing a corporate wellness plan. They believed it would be great for employee morale and people would get into better physical shape plus have more energy. So they started up group fitness training classes with a fitness trainer. The group fitness training classes were a big success and people enjoyed going to these classes. It became actually popular and everybody even did nutritional counseling. This was where I learned how to eat healthier and to avoid all that fast food. I learned how to pack a lunch that is filling and healthy.
