I have been playing streetball for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was a little kit, my father would take us kids to go play basketball at the park. Well, more recently, they finally built this amazing recreational center with a really nice full sized basketball court. The beautiful thing about this recreational center is the fact that it has a powerful HVAC system! We get excellent air conditioning in the hot season, and we can also play basketball during the winter months! It can be snowing outside and we can hit the recreational center to play basketball, it’s so wonderful! In the past, we were not able to play in the winter because it was just too cold. Even on some of the hotter days, we couldn’t play basketball for all that long. I’m so thankful for this recreational center, because now we have some fierce basketball competitions year-round. There are also other things people enjoy doing at the recreational center like playing table tennis and there’s also a little workout area. There even is a small food court and the food isn’t so bad. I personally just like to keep hydrated with water, and I’ll eat some of the healthier choices of food like carrots and apples. I feel that the healthier food always provides more energy and I get that edge on the court when I play basketball. If everybody is heating hamburgers and hotdogs while I’m drinking protein shakes and eating my fruits and vegetables, I feel I can’t lose! We all get the air conditioning though, and that helps everybody.
