It ruined our furnace

I used to prefer reading the Reader’s Digest.

One of my favorite parts of the magazine was LIfe in These United States.

They always supplied these deranged little stories that people write pertaining to actual happenings in their dwellings. There were short stories as well as anecdotes that consistently kept me laughing like crazy. Now, I watch cable shows that are written as well as must have been based on stories from the Reader’s Digest. The other week, I watched one where the guy was attempting to find out where the ‘ghost’ was coming from. Everyone in the boarding house was scared to go near the basement. They said there was some sort of ghost down there. One kid entirely said that he saw the ghost because it was in his room constantly. The older guy found a false door in the room as well as it led straight down to the basement. Unluckily, the door closed behind him when he got down in the basement as well as he was unable to turn around as well as he became easily stuck behind the furnace. This wasn’t too excruciating until the furnace actually turned on. The young kid was there with him as well as he kept saying that perhaps the heat would melt enough fat off the guy so he could squeeze from behind the heating appliance. I had to laugh when I saw that episode because it was pretty much exactly like the story in the magazine. I’m sure nothing quite like that, especially with the furnace turning on as well as the guy finally being able to get out, would happen. I hope the man this undoubtedly happened to, didn’t watch the episode as well as become embarrassed.
