I’m upgrading to zone control

With all the changes this year, I’m amazed to see how fantastic the corporation’s business was this year.

The pandemic sent most of us home to work in our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C comfort this year.

And, I was prepared for the worst year for our sales. But I’ve been amazed and just over the moon with our sales this year. Everyone pulled together and went the extra mile under the circumstances. This could not be better news. And since I was prepared to lose the lease on our offices and do whatever was necessary to keep the corporation afloat, I was really pleasantly surprised. The opposite has happened. While we didn’t completely close the office, we still worked in shifts so that we could all responsibly social distance. Our office space is pretty much just one area. There are a few conference rooms with doors and walls, too, but most of it is a wide open floor plan. The drawback of this setting has been the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C. It’s pretty tough to find an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C setting that is agreeable to 32 different people. I am changing the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system in the office as both a reward for such great work and as a sign that we can all get back to the office as normal this next year. I had the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C people come in and convert the existing Heating, Ventilation, and A/C over to a zone control system. That way, there will be 4 independent temperature zones in the office and each 1 will have its own temperature control and be completely customizable. I think that this will thrill the staff and it’s something I am so happy to do!
