Last warm season, I was asked to be a bridesmaid in my cousin’s wedding.
When I agreed, I really didn’t know what I was getting into.
My cousin was actually crazy with all of her demands. The whole bridal party was expected to join in on insane & fancy activities! Every one of us all went skydiving together, took a wine tasting tour & went whitewater rafting too. Every one of us rented a limousine for a bar crawl & took ballroom dance lessons also. My cousin took a great deal of pictures & posted everything on her social media page. The only thing I actually loved was our sessions with a personal trainer. My cousin was seriously determined to get her wedding party in excellent shape for her important day. Everything was targeted at looking superb in the photos. The personal trainer met with every single one of us individually. Every one of us talked about nutrition, fitness goals & weight loss. He then set up a personal plan & a 1-on-1 training schedule for all of us. Every one of us also participated in all kinds of group fitness classes! Since my cousin is rather uncoordinated, she struggled with this severely. I thought it was superb & truly enjoyed every minute of it. Every one of us worked with resistance bands, free weights, weighted balls & kettlebells. Every one of us had access to a whole bunch of machines, including treadmills, ellipticals & rowing machines. The personal trainer included a good amount of flexibility exercises, static holds & breathing techniques… By the wedding day, I lost over fifteen pounds & felt really good about myself. While I couldn’t wait to be done with all of the duties of being a crucial part of the bridal party, I decided to keep meeting with the personal trainer.
