I was the repair service professional on call last weekend.
Every repair service professional that works for this Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C dealer has to be ready, willing, and able to work one weekend each month. Last weekend it was my turn, and I was really busy and I did not get finished with the last a/c repair until almost 6 during the night. I legitimately wanted to get back to my household and take a shower and have some food. I instead sat in traffic for almost three hours. By the time I made it back to my apartment, the phone rang and a patron needed help with an a/c device repair. I did not have time to take a shower and I grabbed a bag of popcorn from the cabinet before heading back out to the other side of town. I called the patron when I was approximately 10 minutes away… She sounded ecstatic that I was coming to service the a/c device issue. I worked on that issue until around 8:30 at night. It wasn’t an exhausting repair, but the patron did not know the first thing about a/c troubleshooting. She genuinely could have taken care of the problem on her own, however I did not mind helping and coming to the rescue. I eventually crawled into my bed around midnight. I was actually very cheerful the phone did not ring at all throughout the night, but at times it rings off the hook and other days it is as quiet as a church mouse. I did not have another emergency repair call until the following afternoon. It was actually relatively quiet most of the afternoon on Sunday.
