Having lived in the country in the same old log home for the past numerous years, it was pretty absurd when I moved halfway across the country when I accepted a new work. It was much further down south in the city, so the wide open farmland I was used to was replaced with big cities as well as skyscrapers. When I moved into my new apartment it was a big surprise due to just how weird it was than my little home in the woods. One of the strangest things was the air conditioner device inside of the house. Having lived in an old farm apartment up in the north all my life, I never even saw an air conditioner device unit, much less used one. All I had at my old locale was a small fireplace as well as that was it. It took me weeks of trial as well as error to finally figure out all of the controls for this extravagant unit, along with looking at some youtube videos online. It would have really been more smooth to have just called the local HVAC device to ask for some help figuring it out, but pride is an amazing thing. Now that it has been a little longer as well as I have gotten adjusted to this newer way of living, I am starting to miss my air conditioner device unit less as well as less. Every once in a while there are evenings when I am tied up at work as well as would appreciate to head back to my old farm as well as appreciate the silence, but after that I snap back to reality when I remember just how fun as well as exciting the village life is!
