I am the type of person that really hates advertisements, they are nosy and intrusive, and if you ask me, most, but not all of them just waste time.
Now I understand that companies and businesses need to advertise their products in order to make sales, however if they are going to advertise, they should be more creative and less intrusive with how they do it. The fact that adware is even a thing makes my head spin. If I can’t even visit your website without having ten ads blocking my screen, then there is a problem. Now there are always exceptions to the rule, some companies are really innovative and make some really funny and interesting ads that can be fun to watch. However, there seems to be less of this kind and more of the annoying in your face kind, or least that is my experience. No, I don’t want to see some random red flashing ad telling me there are hot singles in my area. I also don’t want to accidentally click on some random product once and then be followed everywhere by advertisements on every website I visit for that said product. Annoying me isn’t going to make me want to buy it any more than before. This happened to me last week, I was browsing around and accidentally clicked on an ad for a brand new air conditioning system. Next thing you know I have that air conditioner and related HVAC products following me all over the internet. My heating and cooling system is in excellent condition and I am not looking into buying any HVAC products anytime soon. The only thing I do with my HVAC system is have my yearly tune-ups done by the heating and a/c professional and run to my thermostat when it is too hot or cold for the house.
