I prefer to walk outside and rest on the porch every morning.

When the sunshine hits the leaves, they glisten in the light. When it’s truly early, there are no noises outside except the sounds of the critters. The un-even temperatures have been getting warmer, and the A/C device has been coming on occasionally, however yesterday morning, I was sitting outside on the porch with my coffee. When the A/C device came on, I heard a faint and unusual whining sound. The sound was coming from the A/C unit, despite the fact that I couldn’t figure out what it was. I couldn’t hear anything except the compressor, so I decided to go into the apartment and turn off the AC. I walked outside, despite the fact that I did not hear anything else. This morning, I heard the same unusual whining sound. I turned off the A/C again, despite the fact that I waited an hour, and eventually, I saw a dog climb out of the A/C unit. There was a rusty spot in the back, and the dog must have found a way to get inside. I don’t know how multiple nights the dog was stuck in the A/C unit, but I’m glad that it finally got out. I grabbed some pieces of cloth and covered the hole. I even localed a large hunk of plywood over the space. I don’t recognize the dog will be able to get back inside the A/C unit, hopefully, I won’t hear that whining sound in the morning again.
