Husband wants to be a bodybuilder, but hasn’t really thought about the repercussions!

I now have him signed up for a small group fitness training class, which is all focused on hypertrophy – that’s muscle growth through physical exercise, specifically

My husband is desperate to be a bodybuilder – I honestly don’t get it. Since he was regularly working out six days a week when we met, now he wants to do actual competitions! He’s in great shape and all, but the problem is that my spouse is a guy that gets really into something without considering the effects long-term. He is just toiling in the gym more, eating more, sleeping more – more of everything, really. Since I knew that there must be some proper science for making your muscles larger and better looking, I did some research and found what kinds of foods he should eat to grow without getting too fat. I also looked into the ideal exercise regimen for him, and found a personal training gym that has group training classes for people doing fitness competitions! The training center even specified that they do classes for bodybuilders! I called up the personal training center, talking to them about my husband and his goals. I now have him signed up for a small group fitness training class, which is all focused on hypertrophy – that’s muscle growth through physical exercise, specifically. My spouse is so happy that I did this for him! With the right food and ideal training regimen, maybe he will stand a chance and go somewhere in the bodybuilding circuits. I don’t really feel that it will work out, as he isn’t going to use anything “questionable” to help him grow in size or cut down on body fat. But hey, he’ll keep working out and getting healthier!
