Almost instantly I hung up on the HVAC technician because I couldn’t believe the price he was saying! I went to the internet and started reading different things on HVAC forums and figured out the problem with my HVAC system. I went to the store and found the HVAC parts I needed for a very low price. I then used the community online to fix my AC unit, and everything was totally fine. I am so happy that I figured out how to fix my own AC unit. If you are someone that is trying to fix your own AC unit without the help of a hired HVAC technician than I have some advice for you. I think it’s a good idea to check all of the resources you can online. Finding different articles about AC units and things like that will be your best friend. You can also watch videos where people show you how to fix specific HVAC problems, and even do things like clean out your ductwork. If you don’t go to the internet you will probably end up wasting a lot of time searching books and things like that, but I am sure you can still find good information on heating and cooling that way. I also recommend asking your friends that might know something about HVAC, that can save you a lot of time.
