Grocery store freezer section was hot

Yet, that did not calm down the shoppers as they also began to rush around the store to hurry and get their perishable items before they melted and spoiled.

So tell me how…I went to the grocery store the other day to replenish my fridge, and while I am strolling through the produce section, admiring some big, fat strawberries, I noticed a decline in the indoor air quality. And not only that, but the freezers and the cooling sections shut down, also. Now, mind you, this grocery store is a relatively brand new building, so there had been rumors about some things going haywire in the store, some minor kinks, and glitches, but now all of the cooling and air conditioning had shut down! This meant I had to rush to the freezer section because I really wanted some ice cream for the night with my wine. There was an announcement made over the loudspeaker that the store managers were aware of the issue and that they were contacting an HVAC provider to come and fix the problem right away, along with an apology to all of us customers. Yet, that did not calm down the shoppers as they also began to rush around the store to hurry and get their perishable items before they melted and spoiled. I could not believe that this was happening inside such an exquisite, new and upscale type of supermarket! I hurried to the checkout lines, which were inevitably packed, but I remained patient and waited my turn. I could see managers putting up signs and telling people that they had to close the store to fix the HVAC unit and that the cooling systems had failed. I also saw the HVAC technicians as they walked in. Next time, I will just have my groceries delivered to my home so that I won’t have to deal with any more surprises on my shopping trip.
