Getting my brother a recliner

I wanted to give my brother a new recliner for his b-day.

  • My brother’s ancient recliner was literally falling apart.

He had gotten it used from our father and it was unquestionably showing its age. The fabric was stained, ripped and gross in spots. The footrest often refused to go up and down. I was hoping to find something great and of fantastic quality that would match the decor of the home office. My brother is a giant man. He’s around 6 feet 6 inches tall and weighs over two hundred pounds. I needed a good-sized, sturdy chair, and he entirely wanted the recliner to include a cup holder. I searched every furniture store in the area. I even checked out chairs on the internet. Anything that accommodated his size was hideously ugly. The chairs were poor quality and I knew the frame and fabric would never hold up overtime. I finally visited a custom furniture shop and explained what we were looking for. The business was seriously helpful. The people asked all sorts of questions to establish the exact size, style, color and fabric. We determined every detail, from the width of the armrests to the height of the backrest. They took into consideration my spouse’s height and weight as well as my desire to conceal the cup holder. We didn’t get the recliner in time for my brother’s birthday. Although we had to wait a few weeks for the chair, it is genuinely perfect. It makes the rest of the home furniture look terrible now though.
