My fiance and I decided to adopt a new puppy last week, and he is really driving me crazy.
She is only 6 weeks old, and he is still potty training.
I can get his to go outside to pee and poop, but he keeps squatting right next to the A/C unit. Last week alone, I stepped in a pile of poop twice. One of those times, I was performing routine service on the A/C unit. I was using the leaf blower to remove the tree and leaf debris from the A/C unit. The two of us had a tremendous storm and a lot of tree foliage fell in the backyard. I was using the leaf blower and did not even see the immense pile of dog poop right next to the A/C unit. I stepped in the pile, and tracked the stuff all over the side of the deck. I have to find a way to keep the puppy from going to the lavatory on the concrete deck. I recognize he likes to play in the sod, and I do not understand why he won’t use the lavatory there. If I have to walk his on a leash, then he will lose out on play time in the backyard. She appreciates to play Under the red tree and drink from the pool. She likes to sit in the Sun, and play by the palm trees. I want his to have fun playing outside, however I need to train his to use the sod, leaves, and dirt.
