Dinner air vents

My wife tells all kinds of people that I have given her god-like status.

I am consistently giving her burnt offerings.

I don’t burn her food on purpose, plus I am actually a honestly fantastic cook overall. I even did some catering when I was a lot younger. She reminds me that my last task was when I put the Pasta Alfredo in the oven to get warmed up plus I hit the broil instead of the warming. I was busy with the hors d’oeuvres plus entirely forgot about the pasta until the smoke came flowing out of the oven. When I got our new oven, she made sure to have a fantastic ventilation hood to go with the oven. She wanted to be sure that next time I upheld her status, the smoke would go outside plus not inside. My worry with this is that we may end up with the firetruck coming up the lane. If someone reports all of the smoke coming from our household, they may suppose our household is on fire. The ventilation system will assure that none of that smoke is coming back into the household, so I believe that is a fantastic thing. I tried to tell her that with the ventilation system running all of the time, as she suggests, it could be pulling the air conditioning out of the household. I know that she wasn’t having any of it. She told myself and others that the heating plus air conditioning would be staying in the household, plus the ventilation system was not even strong enough to pull all of it out. I haven’t burned anything in a long time.
