Clueless about bees

I can totally admit that our knowledge of bees is somewhat limited, but the only thing I guess that is what I saw in The Secret Life of Bees.

The film contains a large group of beekeepers that has honey for sale, however you get to watch the local beekeeper dress in the proper gear, use a calming type of mist and handle the bees, then what was cool is that you get to see the shed where all the honey was located.

The golden honey was in unusual sized glass jars and just looked interesting to me. I have done a little research on honey keeping and it has myself and others pondering how the women got all those bees, then more than likely a bee rescue and relocation supplier would contact the main woman working as the local beekeeper. They would remove honeybees, wasps, yellow jackets many other kinds of insects from a person’s house and then want to suppose if the beekeeper wants them, however since their profession deals with honey sales, the beekeeper would then take the bees and then place them in a hive box. Once in a blue moon the beekeeper then would remove the bees from the box and take the honey. The honey is then packed up and then for sale. In the film they don’t truly touch up on the start to the bees, although I bet that is how it is done. I suppose the film is based on a book, I’m one hundred percent positive that they go into more detail with that. What I found recognizably amazing is that the beekeeper had bare hands handling the bees. Was this because removing the screen from the hive box is hard?
