Chronic Pain Makes Me Feel Overheated

There are millions of people who suffer with chronic pain.

I never thought I would understand the elderly, but as I get well into my 40s, I understand them more.

A lot of what they – plus now I – do, is based on chronic pain. For example, I went to the nearby state park other afternoon. As a younger person, I fearlessly climbed the ladder plus jumped in from the high platform. Nowadays, though, I can’t do that because I can’t climb as I used to! There are a million such examples. There is also a side effect of chronic pain that I did not think existed; that is being overheated a lot of the time . If I have to sit or walk or complete physical thing, my arthritis pain makes me long for an air conditioning system. If I don’t have the air conditioner blasting, I get overheated just doing minimal things. When I don’t have the air conditioner temperature control set lower than most other people, I begin to get wet and overheated which makes me feel actually crummy. I don’t even prefer to cook anymore because between the heat of the stove mixed with the pain means the air conditioner is not even wonderful enough to keep me comfortable. If you have someone in your family who is dealing with chronic pain, you should help him or her by ensuring that the air conditioner is always in good order. If my air conditioner ever goes out, I will be spending my life at the hotel where the air conditioner works fine.
