Changing up the office HVAC

So, I am changing the HVAC up as both a reward for such good work and a sign that we will get back to business as usual in 2021.

With all the changes we’ve had to deal with, I’m amazed to see how great business was this year. The pandemic sent most of us working from the HVAC comfort of home this year. And, I was prepared for the worst year on record for sales. However, I have been amazed and over the moon with our sales this year. Everyone really pulled together and went the extra mile under extraordinary circumstances. This could not be better news. I was prepared to lose the lease on our offices and do whatever necessary to keep the business afloat. Yet, the opposite has happened. While we didn’t completely close the office, we worked it in shifts so we could responsibly social distance. Our office space is pretty much just one big area. There are a few conference rooms with doors and walls. However the rest is wide open floorplan. The downside of this has been the HVAC. It’s tough to find an HVAC setting that is agreeable to 35 different people. So, I am changing the HVAC up as both a reward for such good work and a sign that we will get back to business as usual in 2021. I had the HVAC people come in and convert the existing HVAC over to a zone control scheme. This way there will be 4 independent temperature zones. Each one will have its own thermostat and be completely customizable. I know that will thrill the staff and it’s something I am so happy to be able to provide.
