Back into the safety of indoor air

A few weeks ago I remember when people started emerging outside.

After months of social isolation and quarantine, people were given the green light to leave their homes for the first time since March.

It was a drastic change for everybody and it seems like people couldn’t wait to get back into a public social setting. All of a sudden, the empty city streets were flooded with human beings again. Personally, I wasn’t one of those people who was ready to risk my respiratory health and life to go eat at a local restaurant. I wanted to stay inside in the comfort and safety of my central heating and cooling system. I didn’t trust that the COVID-19 pandemic had truly been solved yet. Thank God I felt this way, because it turns out that viral cases are increasing everywhere. While other folks were out drinking together, I’ve only made more improvements to my central heating and cooling system to make my indoor air quality even healthier. I had a brand new air purification system installed that works in tandem with my normal central HVAC system. It easily removes over 99% of airborne contaminants before they circulate through my indoor breathing air. Since I haven’t exposed my home to any potentially contaminated outdoor air, I imagine my indoor air has to be ultra-pure at this point. I’ve been circulating the same high-quality indoor air for over three months now, with HEPA filters and UV light disinfection repeatedly distilling my breathing air for the utmost purity. Now that I’m hearing that COVID-19 cases are on the rise and quarantining might be necessary again, I’m relieved. I really didn’t want to leave the amazing high quality air that I’ve carefully curated all quarantine.
