Because I am a fitness trainer, I am regularly trying to make our customers as ecstatic as possible, and i have this one crazy customer though that I swear is never happy about anything in life.
On most day she is complaining about something, and usually uses up half of our hour talking.
Last session she started throwing a massive fit about the lack of A/C in our gym, and how it was hard to workout while she was so hot. I told her I would look into the cooling proposal issue for her, and see what I could find, to make her assume that I was doing something, I walked over and looked at the ductwork and jiggled the air filter, pretending like I knew what i was doing. She started to complain about it being to hot, and I told her I would talk to an HVAC corporation about it. I brought it up to our boss, and he said it really was time for preventative repair anyways. I eventually called the local HVAC provider and had them send someone out. I told him to make the A/C component as cold as could be, and he said he would do his best. I am not positive as to what he did, but when he left the cooling system felt appreciate ice! I was excited for our customer to return the next afternoon to see what she would say about our state of the art cooling system. The next afternoon she walked into our gym with the A/C component blasting at full power. The first words out of her mouth were about how cold the gym was! I realized that I just couldn’t win, and the people I was with and I got started with the workout. In the end I am glad the people I was with and I fixed the A/C unit, but the people I was with and I entirely wasn’t necessary.
