Having lived in the country in the same old log house for the past numerous years, it was pretty insane when I moved halfway across the country when I accepted a modern job. It was much further down south in the city, so the wide open farmland I was used to was upgraded with immense cities plus skyscrapers. When I moved into my modern house it was a immense surprise due to just how different it was than my little house in the woods. One of the strangest things was the air conditioner component inside of the house. Having lived in an old farmhouse up in the north all my life, I never even saw an a/c unit, much less used a single. All I had at my old location was a small fireplace plus that was it. It took myself and others weeks of trial plus error to finally figure out all of the controls for this fancy unit, along with looking at some youtube videos online. It would have legitimately been more smooth to have just called the local Heating plus Air Conditioning component to ask for some help figuring it out, but pride is an amazing thing. Now that it has been a little longer plus I have gotten adjusted to this newer way of living, I am starting to miss my a/c component less plus less; Every once in a while there are evenings when I am tied up at job plus would appreciate to head back to my old farm plus enjoy the silence, but then I snap back to reality when I remember just how fun plus exciting the town life is!
