This is a legitimate family of giants in my house. Everyone is at least six feet tall, with my wife being close to 7 feet tall. Yes, really! With our height, many things are difficult to do. Flying on aircrafts is a huge burden since we all have too long of a set of legs and little to no leg room. Clothing never fits right on a lean frame either! Since buying clothes was frustrating too, and the usual couch size was too low to the ground for us, we were pretty much always uncomfortable. It made “relaxing” in the living room intolerable! With the dining room table being low to the ground, the chairs were not the right size either for us. I looked around online for what other giants like myself were doing, and found one lady that said they get everything made by a custom furniture store! I looked around to find this place, and at last – I found a custom furniture store that could help me and my family of lumbering giants. These people do make furniture pieces to the size of the home, and for rooms that are oddly shaped, the furniture is made to the right size. The custom builder said she would gladly make our dining room dining set for the size of my family instead of the norm! With each of us coming in and being measured, the dining room table is now much taller than a regular one in most hardware stores. The chairs have longer legs too – I even custom ordered a couch that sits higher than normal! With cushions that are pushed further back into the couch, the furniture seems longer as a result.
